Our family likes what we call, extra eggy style french toast. Cheap, white texas toast is key as you want the egg to soak the toast but still cook all the way through and the crust is nice and soft.

Ingredients:
8 slices Texas Toast (If you search at most grocery stores there will be a generic brand loaf that specifically says “Texas Toast”. It’s cheap, white bread cut slightly thicker.)
10 large eggs
2 tbsp Milk
Sprinkle of cinnamon
Maple Syrup and Butter
Combine eggs and milk. Soak bread until heavy but not falling apart. Place in griddle coated with cooking spray over low heat. (8 slices of bread fit perfect in my electric griddle, it’s ideal to have a pan that they fit in with just a little space around them.) Once all the bread is on the griddle pour the remaining egg mixture on top and sprinkle with cinnamon. It will run over and leave scrambled eggs on the top and sides. Flip until cooked through and serve with butter and syrup.
